During my consultations, I hear so many stories about the stresses and pressures of life, which of course, have profound consequences on our health. As you all know, I love to help people to recover from stress and fatigue, but I want to share with you some ideas that my lovely patients and I have shared, regarding how we may better cope with modern day pressures.
Keep it simple
Most of us agree that we need to simplify our lives. Small is beautiful.
Time
Give ourselves enough time to do get the things we need to do, done properly. Give ourselves time to just be.
Bringing our minds back into our bodies
Untangle our brain from the www by switching off our phones and paying attention to who and what is immediately around us. Be where you are.
Focus on the Now
We can only work with the present, so worrying about the future and regretting the past is a waste of our energy. We can change our lives by calmly focussing on what we can do in the present moment.
Counting our blessings
– Brings about an instant and immediate sense of peace and gratitude.
Energy follows attention
Quantum physics clearly shows us that where you focus your attention, manifestation will follow. If we focus on how fortunate we are, we relax, we are open to opportunities, then doors open, with our positive state of mind we are more likely to take up those opportunities, and one’s life changes for the better.
Reduce our expectation of what is expected of us
Love your own beautiful self, and in doing so, follow your heart too.
Take time to enjoy life
It is not meant to be a slog.
Immerse in nature, and especially at this time of year, find a sunbeam to bask in
Sunshine brings us so much more than just vitamin D. The ancient Egyptians knew this when they depicted sun rays holding an Ankh – the symbol of Life. The Sun is our source of life on Earth
We can change our world and in doing so, we change the world, one person at a time.
